Perfect start to Munstead...

Went up and walked the course, looks nice and ground is really good! Got back to the yard and went straight out to get my horses in, halfway in Pops short forwards, kicked out and got me on my right hip, right thigh and inside of my left knee

Manage to lose both i was leading, unfortunately Pops didn't quite find the main road

Anyway, my knee is HUGE, i can hardly walk and its so bl**dy sore the likelyhood of me actually walking tomorrow is about 1000-1, and i have no idea how i'm going to ride as all the inside of the knee and up half of the thigh is swollen, and i can't touch it!
Oh and my hip has a nice big lump on it to

Poor you. Plenty of ice and use arinica both on the kick and orally.

Munstead jinx!!!! My horse managed to twist his shoe in the field and put a nail through his foot - so no Munstead for me either.

Do what I'm doing and have a couple of glasses of wine to numb the frustration or agony in your case.

Hope there's no serious damage

Thanks all, i'm going to try ice and arnica later, still can't really touch it!
