Pergolide - How much do you pay?

Used to pay about £40 from the chemist, but now I have to buy Prascend it's at least 85p per 1mg tablet so sounds as though you're getting a good price.
 
How are you managing to get Pergolide, I'm not able to anymore:(. If its actually Prascend you are getting for that price can you let me know where from. I paid £142 for 160 prascend a couple of weeks ago.
 
cheapest prascend i have found was viovet.co.uk at 86p per 1mg tablet. you need a prescription from your vet (which you usually have to pay for) make sure your vet writes on it repeat x3 then you can get 3 lots of drugs when required. OR yyou can ask your vet to price match .... mine did!!
 
Yeh I got mine from viovet at £142, the prescription cost me £9. As the pony is on 2 a day its makes it quite expensive compared to pergolide which I paid around £50 for.:(
 
Mine is still pergolide, picked up prescription yesterday. My chemist hasnt said anything about not being able to get it??

Naryafluffy - Is that £66.90 from Tesco for 100?? How do you give them a prescription (send it if ordered online??).
 
I always used to get pergolide from the chemist but they told me a couple of months they were no longer able to supply it under the cascade system as there is no an equine version available (at twice the price). Presumably the tesco and boots ones are still pergolide as they won't be supplying animal drugs. Might try them, seems very unfair that some folk are having to pay so much for supposedly complying with the law. :mad:
