Pergolide On Prescription - Help Please !

Hi there, my mare has Cushins and I am struggling to pay the vets fees for Pergolide but understand that I can ask my vet for a prescription and buy them via the internet. I have had a look on the internet and cannot find any that differ that much in price. Does anyone know of a site where I could get some cheaper tablets please. Thanks very much for your help.

If you have a prescription try Asda or Boots - I found them much cheaper. Good Luck

We can usually order your drugs in, but bear in mind veterinary prescriptions have VAT applied to them. My concern with buying online is a lot of the sites are not selling regulated drugs...

go round all your local chemist including supermarkets and ask how much pergolide will cost I buy 100 1mg tablets for £60 from local chemist in scotland. Big savings lol

ou sure that's the right measure? That works out very expensive if it's right. I get 100 x 1mg for £55 but their supplier has just stopped stocking it. There is going to be a national shortage and it has started already. My local chemist has promised to shop around for me but they are doubtful they will be able to get it at my present price.
I'd def shop around your local chemist shops, they seem to be cheaper than the internet.

3 years ago I used to get a precription fom my vets and then collect them from a local independant pharmacy. Then after a year the vet dropped the price of supplying them and I got them from the vet . There are lots of reputable companies on the net, not sure if I am allowed to mention names on here.
