:(Hi my pony has been diagnoised with peritonitis, he is so poorly, vets are doing
everything thing they can.

He is on 2antibiotic injections, fluids and pain relief daily praying for a
miracle as the out look is not good, he hast drunk for over a week. and hardly
eaten.

Just wondered if anyone else had any experience of this them selfs?

Poor little shettie.
I do. Both with completely different outcomes.
The first was our mare. Came down with a temperature of 104.8!!! Had visits from the vet 3 days on the trot. Fluids, antibiotics, anti inflamitories galore and a horrid smelling drug to try and prevent any damage to the brain - I am sure someone will know what it is called. After getting her temperature down to 102.1 on the Friday night we lost her on the Saturday morning.
The second is on my yard and came down with a case of it, after a massive amount of treatment he pulled through and now is back to full fitness, although he did have to have a serious amount of time off afterwards as he could not tolerate a girth.
I really hope your little chap pulls through.xx
