Hi, I have a mare that I would very much like to cover with a main studbook graded stallion, rather than just ECHA. Do you know of any really nice specifically Perlino stallions that I could use if possible that would enable me to ensure a place in a mainstream studbook? I would prefer something with a track record, but with such a small market, I know it's difficult. My mare is a straight double Donnerhall cross at 3rd/4th generation, but is by a GB grand prix stallion, out of an elite dam. She is quite finely built, so am not worried if the stallion has a lot of bone, I just want it to be a classy stallion!
I have a couple of palominos already, but would like to breed a really stunning dressage type foal from her, for me to ride. If he's smart enough then I may just use him on my other mares, although i have some Furst Heinrich semen for one of them, which I'd intended to use for a hopefully cracking 2015 foal!
Hope you can help :-)

Thanks wagtail. Do you know what his movement is like, as I'm looking for floating paces as I want the foal to do dressage? Is there a video of him moving? Alternatively, is he going to the Stallion Parade at Hartpury? Thank so much for replying :-)

I have not personally seen that particular stallion move. If you email or phone the stud owner (Sally Lister) I am sure she probably has some video of him. He's related to my filly that I just bought (her grand sire is Desert Storms sire) and she moves beautifully with excellent elevation and natural floaty paces. The website address was wrong in my original post - it's www.brachenspastud.co.uk Use the email address hrpsal@aol.com as the one on the website sometimes goes to the spam folder.

Dunhill desert storm is a lovely stallion with some very solid WB breeding behind him.
Worth giving Sally a call from experience you wont be treated better anywhere and have the backup of Tower vets who have phenomenal results getting mares in foal by AI,wont send my mares anywhere else .

Have to agree.

I like the conformation of Crowns wonder pearl better though. But he's cremello.

With colour I always think, 'Would I buy this if it were a gelding?'
I haven't seen one where I'd say 'yes' yet

If I had the land and money - I would buy Kambarbay if he was a gelding as he's one of the nicest Tekes I've seen. I'm not aiming for high level competition though, I would love to own a Teke and have fun with it. I would actually like him even more if he was bay. ;)

it's more esophagus, fetus etc that I have issue with :p.

Would you also have issue with my BIL being called Mykul! lol

Ok, derailing this, sorry OP. Honestly, I do quite like Sagar...nice hind action from the little you can see. They do ship frozen semen and it could be worth asking for more video if you are set on this colour.
