(also in veterinary)
I feed my older TB, msm and chondroitin (sp?) supplement, to help with mild arthritis.
I noticed an advert for Pernamax which states it works quicker, and more effectively.
I'm just wondering if anyone has used it, and what were they're result's?

In my experience it really works, however some have said it doesn't, so maybe it depends on the horse and what is causing the pain.

If it's going to work for your horse you will tell within a week or two, or well within the first tub, so it's worth a try, as unlike many joint supplements it's not something you have to give for ages to accumulate any noticeable effect.

I tried it on my old mare and didn't notice any difference, but I have also tried cortaflex and bute and neither of them made any difference. She is mechanically lame with spavins and a damaged hamstring.

we use NAF superflex. Have seen a real difference with all of ours (a belgium warmblood, ISH and Welsh sec A). It is liquid so can be absorbed better. and doesn't brake the bank. have tried quite a few but not pernamax (yet! lol!) but cortaflex in particular was rubbish with my ickle mare banner (RIP) who had severe hock spavins. synequin (the vet one) also did nothing, and i swear i was gonna have to sell an organ or something to pay for the next box!!! lol!
Hope it helps
