Persistent Snorting/Sneezing, thoughts?

do you know if the allergy developed later in life? that must've been a headache to manage!

It was a horse I was on a yard with for a few years and yes I believe it must have done as the owner was definitely transitioning to the 'hay free' life while I was there as she had narrowed down what the issue was. Horse would have been about 16/17 so must have been a progressive thing as she'd owned him many years. He went out on grass during the day and came in to a big tub of soaked grass nuts and chaff. He was also ok with the Simple Systems Lucie bricks I think and had those hung up in his stable. Winter was definitely tricky but much easier in summer as he was fine with grass!

That's really interesting, thank you! At this point im not sure what to hope for 🙈 Vet is coming out tomorrow afternoon so hopefully there'll be a plan at least
 
Hiya, my boy was similar. Not extreme amounts but noticeable snorting/ shaking head/ sneezing both ridden (more when stressed) and out or in stable - and he had a tumor in his nose. I know yours doesn't have discharge, he wouldn't have had any discharge either if it hadn't been chronically infected which caused lacerations. It isn't as rare as you'd think surprisingly, its very common in pink skins with SCC but there are different types, my boys was a mast cell and I was lucky it was visible just looking - if it had been further up we would've had to do the endoscope.

that's really interesting thank you! She's going in for the scope next week so hopefully that will provide some answers 🤞
