do you know if the allergy developed later in life? that must've been a headache to manage!I did know one horse once that was completely allergic to any hay/haylage/straw. He was bedded on wood pellets and lived off trugs of grass pellets and simple systems feeds quite successfully, plus grass in summer obviously, which cured it.
I had a horse that suffered over summer with pollen and giving him 10-15 cetirizine tablets twice a day helped, I bought the generic unbranded ones in bulk from online pharmacies.
