As a few people know my new mare and I and hoping to event, and in order to do so I need to get my ass in gear everyday and ride the best that her and I can to reach our potential.
Does or would anyone have a personal trainner purley for eventing? Someone who would kick you ass into gear and tell you straight what it is you must be doing and set you goals every month to reach. beacuse Tbh I know what we want to achive but I am not confident in know the time scale on when this can all be achieved from which depends on my mare completely.
I dont want to push her to far but at the same time I dont want to hold back if shes keen and can learn more.
Am i being stupid? I know she has it but its bringing it out.

i would think that regular lessons with a trainer would be the perfect thing - i am of the opinion that with out lessons (unless you are a fab rider) you will struggle to progress. good luck with yur plans - i'm sure you will succeed, but maybe a faster time span with a trainer. x

Tbh I do prefer to have someone on the ground beacuse there is onnly so much you can see and work out when in the saddle. I have been competing for many years but as this is a new green horse for me I dont know whether to actually get a trainner who can help me day to day with advice and who specalises in eventing its self ect or to keep having lessons with who I am whos a bit if everything.
