personality change?

Hi all.
just some advice needed really.
my pony has always bee a little ....'difficult' but i have always worked through it and we are now having regular lessons with him which has helped.
the last few weeks however his temprement has changed massivly for the worst? he's started rearing if left alone (whilst i go into the tackroom) when tied up and in his box?
he's also become unpredictable to ride and generally 'nasty'?

his feed hasnt changed but what else could it be?

any suggestions would be great x

Could it be the spring grass? Other than that could he be in pain? Have you had vet, dentist or back person to have a look?

I agree with Hettie. Sounds like he's trying to tell you something. I would get his back checked out first, then go through all the othe usual checks.

yeah, he had the dentist a couple of weeks ago, the farrier 3 days ago and a vet check too! they cant find any reason for it at all?
