Just thought I'd ask...cos if you don't ask you'll never know!

Does anyone live in or around Perth, or know anything about it? I'm off to Australia in a couple of weeks on a bit of an extended holiday, spending three weeks in Melbourne (to watch the tennis) and then spending a week in Perth on the way home. I've been reading up about it, but it's nice to hear from real people too as well as just websites! I've not even booked anywhere to stay yet, as can't decide where!

I've just moved to Perth about three months ago - and am loving it! Fantastic weather, amazing beaches, great parks and lots of stuff to do. I'd be tempted to stay in the city as public transport is very easy in all directions from there. Let me know if you want anymore info!
