You cant really judge until they are moving though, so here is a short clip of Beau in his or the first time if it helps:

Hope that helps a bit! Ive got the hang of mine now!

St_Bernard - i've also just got a Pessoa (well, the derby house version) and it came without instructions (helpful!)

So i was just wondering, you know the 3 rings each side of the roller and the ring between the legs? Which one is the easiest for the horse? Or does it not matter as long as it's loose?

Thank you very mucho!

hiya Lou,

I printed out these intructions so i have a set up the yard (I think it explains it well):

this is the link to show fitting:

http://www.englishridingsupply.com/cartdata/?art=pessoa_sizing_charts&theme=pessoa_home

and these are the instructions:

Basically the lower the setting is, the easier it is for the horse.

so how I have it, between his legs like a bungee, is the easiest setting, after that you progress onto the side rings, the higher up you go, the harder work it is for the horse.

Ive only had Beau in it twice, so still on the easy setting and quite loose.

Also only do 5 mins at first as it is hard work for them.
