pessoa question...

I have one which i have been using lightly on Summer to bring her back into work.

My question is; do you think it would be ok to do it and lunge my daughter at the same time? Thought i could kill two birds with one stone.

the pessoa fits onto my daughters saddle (dont have a small enough roller) and at the mo, my daughter is not using the reins; shes holding onto the front of the saddle. Do you think that would be ok or not?

errrrr not sure - it depends how wel behaved summer is i suppse, and how you fit your pessoa - if daughter is just going to be sat there holding front of the saddle i cant see too much of a problem - as long as the stirrups/her legs cant get caught up in it?

a girl I used to know rode with hers on all the time - never seen it done before or since, but Harry her horse didnt mind at all!

have seen it done quite a bit on little show ponies, while the jockey has been sat on top doing very little,

Never heard of it, personally i wouldnt as the pessoa makes the horse work hard as it is without having the extra weight and balance issues of a person but thats just my first impressions.

Caitlin is only wee so the weight issue isnt a problem and, obviously if the pessoa gets in the way then it will be a no no. thanks all!
