Pessoa Questions

Having just read Tia's post in the NL, i'm quite scared to ask this, but hey ho - it's my birthday so you can't shout at me!!

Well my boyfriend bought be a pessoa from Burghley and gave it to me today as a birthday prezzie. Having never used one before, i dont know what to do! Actually, it's not a proper Pessoa - it's Derby Houses' version, which claims to be the same. http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/prodshow.asp?id=2257&a=srch

Obviously, we all have to start somewhere - we aren't all born with the knowledge of these things (well i wasnt!), so where do i start?

Get an instructor? Find a step-by-step user guide?? No-one on our yard has one, so i cant ask them. And i dont have an instructor (but i occasionally go on weekend training breaks).

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Birthday Lou

I bought the Derby House design when I went to Partoow for training. She set it up for Cass and I have just used it without having to adjust it in any way. Partoow has the John/Michael Whittaker design which did come with distructions on how to fit for different levels of training.

Have you googled at all?

Nope, not googled it yet Helen - will do though. Might go to some of the local yards and see if anyone else has one. I'm sure they will. I'm sure Mo wont be too pleased with it - she hates have things around her legs when lunging!
