Pessoa Saddles

What are they like, obviously i would need to have one fitted but someone told me they sit high on the wither so they slip forward are they suited to some horses more than others? Thanks

Lovely to ride in, dont fit many horses though! best thing is to try and see, they may have got better recently as they ahve changed the design slightly. Personally cant beat the older models, but difficult to get hold of!!

I love pessoas but have also found they fit some horses better!

I really like the look of them and they are apparently very comfy what type of horse do they fit, i have a dutch warmblood she has a wintec which fits well just a gp with a wide gullet?!

I have an orgianal Pessoa Amo II (the ones made in france not the ones by GFS) on my high withered TB and it's fab. Lovely to ride in and i wouldnt give it up for the world

Not a lot of people know that Pessoa saddles (along with Whitaker saddles and Anky saddles) are in fact made in Argentina by a company called Ruiz Diaz

Bet they're a lot cheaper here too!

Oh really i know gfs own anky and pessoa but i didnt realise whittaker i guess thats just a coincidence as they arent connected thats really interesting to know!

Perhaps GFS have Anky and Pessoa in the UK? The saddles are definitely made here though!
