Are the cheaper versions as good or are they rubbish??

Made my own - much cheaper, works just as well! (And meant I could alter it as I wanted, ours has elastic inserts to make it a little more 'forgiving')

We got one on ebay. It was a new one from Dress Circle and is excellent.

Scats have them a bit cheaper. Very robust.
