They're really good
My horse is just coming back into work from being lame through back problems (he was very tight and sore behind his saddle and had a sore neck due to a poorly fitting saddle
) after having the chiropractor and 2 weeks rest I lunged him in this today and the difference was huge: his back was loose and swinging!
They're also good because you know that your horse will be working properly
definately worth the investment!

I think if used correctly it is good, as it does get the horse working well from behind and in a nice outline, i think they work better than in side reins.
however, i don't really like using it as there is too many ropes and attachments for my liking, and i think if a horse decided it didnt like it, it could end in a pickle.
I think you get a lot of people incorrectly using it.
My boss makes me lunge the liveries in it sometimes. and TBH i had never used it and told them that straight. they showed me once how to put it on and briefly how to use it. I am still getting the hang of it now, i am always worried the horses may rear in it. I usually start of with it fairly loose but not so that its too loose. then adjust when needed, but i was told to use it tightly for one pony which i dont really agree on, i think thats asking for trouble....

I use one and its helped my horse alot. I didn't buy the Pessoa but something exactly the same off the internet for £21.00, even my instructor thought it was the real deal!!

Cool, tbh most of the copies are just as good. i bought the john whittker one because it comes with a roller leaving my other one free for long lining etc - too lazy to keep changing over!

It was rather complicated to put on. She was quite funny I think she thought I was being very stupid making her trot in a contraption.

Once you've put it on a couple of times its no bother, but it is much easier to leave it on the roller! Let me know if you want it

Theres some on ebay at the moment for £19.99! I got 1 last week and its completely the same as an expensive one.
I agree to leave it on the roller to save faffing about.

How young? I used mine on my now 5yo when he was 4 and never had any issues. As long as it is on the low setting and is fairly loose I don't see any issue with short sessions
