One of our local RCs is having a Peter Storr clinic next month. Anyone had a lesson with him, would be interested to know how it went?

A few of us getting rather excited and anxious too

I've never had any training from him but the girl who trains me goes to him all the time and she is very good herself so reckon he's got to be worth a whizz!!

Don't expect him to tell you how wonderful you are, expect hard work, 110% effort on your part and some real improvement in your horse.
I would say he doesn't suffer fools easily, but if you are determined to try he will work with you an make a difference.
Like all top trainers it's pointless going to him unless you are committed to improving, and are prepared to listen and try his methods.
I wouldn't be anxious, when someone teaches day in day out they know how to put people at their ease!

Peter is exellent. I trained with him before he moved to broadway and Lucy his head girl who now runs the Grooms thing was a good friend. They were great , hard work but all with good humour and all explained. He was always willing to discuss things and was quite happy for me to stay and watch other lessons.
Go and enjoy. You will get a lot from it because you have an open mind and will get so much from it. X
