Petition to gvmt to make the horse passport system work !!

I saw a mare that had been beaten to death in front of her foal last week in the news and was so horrified that I started a petition to the Government to do several things: _

1) To make the horse passport system workable
2) To make fly grazing illegal
3) To ensure that any owner (who should be traceable through the horse passport system) is held accountable and punished for any mistreatment to their animal.

I am sick to my back teeth of hearing about horses being STOLEN, beaten to death, set alight drowned and sulky racers being driven into cars ....what is WRONG with people ???

PLEASE sign and share this petition with as many as you can ...we have had 9000 signatures since Tuesday - so LOTS of folks feel very strongly about this......all over the World. I KNOW you DO too !

As a devastated horsetheft victim from the 1980s, I have long been aware of the horsetheft problems that are still continuing. We campaigned at Government level as at the time there wasn't even the horse passport system in place. Something needs to be done to stop the neglect, theft and suffering of horses and the loopholes in the passport system.
