Following on from Antifaz and I jumping yesterday, it was PF's turn today.
I decided we would do 80 cm, and if she was going OK (or more to the point, I wasn't cocking up too badly) then we would do 90cm
Jumped clear in 80 but got 1 time penalty!!
PF had jumped immaculately though, and thus emboldened quickly went and entered the 90 cm class.
When I got back I was surprised to see a man with a microphone and another man with a camera standing next to PF (with BOF's grandson on board) Can you believe they actually asked me for an interview to talk about her...... PLAITS!!! Hilarious!!! (these are Druid-plaits, incidentally!!)
So I gave them a brief interview; they asked me how long they took, if they had a purpose (WTF?!) beyond the aesthetic... Daft bloke! Apparently he was from quite an important channel, but I don't watch TV, so I wouldn't know!
Anyway, in the 90cm class I jumped the first fence FAR too slowly and got in far too close, but PF hopped over it like a bunny on crack and after that I did a much better job. Phew! Only had one down and PF was flying! I had another enquiry (Farrier approached me on behalf of someone) to see if I wouldn't sell her (nope!!) Despite the 4 faults, I was very pleased with my girly and a tiny bit relieved I wouldn't have to jump off at 1m!!
Got a few pics, but nothing great, I'm afraid...
Warming up (Yes, that is a (straight bar) gag and she went brilliantly in it!)
Warm up jump (she cleared it!)
The fence I had down (not the first, amazingly!)
I really like this pic of BOF watching grandson warming up
And a pic of this horse, just because i think he's lovely!!
