Have put these in Gallery (plus vids of her being a bit... fresh!)
Luis reckons she's sound, F isn't around to ask. I'm a paranoid mum so whilst I would like to think she is, am not sure...
I'm having a de ja vu moment (I'm sure I spelt that wrong!) No idea why! Made me look to see I was reading a new post though. lol
Anyway...I've not seen the one in the gallery. There is something not as comfortable looking about her on the right rein to my (highly untrained) eye. Although she is nosing around a bit.
Still as beautiful as ever though.
Edited to add. She doesn't look lame to me. I didn't make that clear. As I said, I just don't think she's concentrating as much which distracts from her movement a bit.
I would say she wasnt 100% sound, but difficult to tell from video/I dont know her action/Im no expert. If you lunge her on concrete, that would give you a better indicator as it will show up the lameness better!
Yeah I was not so happy with the right rein...seemed a bit more tense with tail swishing and head seemed to nod more pronounced than on other rein....so hard to tell with a vid.
I don't think she was 100% on the right rein she looked a lot more stuffy in her stride and has a very slight hobble every so often. She also didn't look as happy on the right in comparison to the left.
She looked fine on the left rein.
I suggest you lunge on a hard surface just so you have a comparison from the surfaces as it may show up on concrete.
It is hard to tell with the vid and I am no expert.
I hope all is well with her she is a stunning mare!
Precisely why I was wondering if she went down in the box when the original accident happened. I agree with you, i think its further up and more muscular discomfort.
Ok was just wondering. When mine went down he pulled quite a lot of muscles over his back, down his quarters and down his shoulders in the panic to get back up.. sorta wondered if she'd done something similar
