Well, I arrived at yard to find vet with his hand in PF's mouth. He announced she didn't have any loose teeth. I said yes she did and showed him which one, and then he agreed it was loose *rolls eyes* but barely so. He DID think it is fairly likely that she has a hairline fracture of her lower jaw, explaining loose tooth and slight swelling and sensitivity in jaw area. Basically, the molar is still in place, he doesn't want to remove it unless absolutely necessary, which is fine by me and she's getting x-rayed next week. In any case the only treatment is rest, and she's getting that.
She also has a slight swelling above her right knee. I say 'swelling' but it's actually quite a firm bump. I also think she's a wee bit lame, although vet disagrees *rolls eyes again* In any case it doesn't hurt her to touch/prod/push etc so she might just be stiff from limited exercise. He said it was not going to cause her any probs. Relief!
Just as well vet was there because when I went to check on LC, he had a big FAT hind leg and was hopping lame. I'm absolutely LIVID none of the blinking grooms noticed it, or thought to mention it to me

(I was unable to get a lift to the yard the day before) Fortunately, vet said it was not a kick or anything serious like that, but he'd probably got an infection from some teeny tiny cut (I couldn't find one when I washed his leg) Anyhoo, second day of ABs and he's MUCH better, swelling has gone down and he's much sounder. Relief!
Antifaz, as usual, is absolutely fine and has nothing wrong with him at all

Ha! Not only did I get MY money's worth, my YO had him look at 2 of his own horses!

Sometimes I wonder if people at my yard only have vets see their horses if I call them...

Actually, I should probably make a Drs appt for next week, but I'm so idle!!

The collarbone itself doesn't hurt anymore unless I make a sudden movement, or PF pretends to be scared of the cat and shoves me...

Everything seems fine, in any case
