Pharaoh's been gone a month now...

Well Pharaoh was put down a month ago but today I really feel i've turned a corner today. I still felt pretty miserable over the weeks but hearing his post mortem results proved what a brilliant & tolerant boy he was (he still had undisolved stitches in him 3yrs after his op). I was trawling through adverts looking at ponies like him and missed having nothing to go to every day. Today it all feels different though, I rode at a brilliant place on a completely different type of horse and I have realised what kind of horse I really do want. I have been much more focused on my schoolwork today and although I really ache now I am so much happier!
So for everyone that has lost a horse - it really does get better! I miss Pharaoh everyday and in some ways I still wish he was here but atleast I know he is pain free now.

Glad you feeling better hun, its great that you are turning a corner. You will always miss Pharaoh loads but like you said he is now pain free and running free. x
