my colt is usualy in an electric fence field but his silly field companion has learnt that the plastic posts arnt electric so he pulls them out the ground with his mouth and throws them on the floore. and steps over the tape to to freedom. so today i decided to pop them in a fenced paddock while i was sorting the electric fence out. my colts companion was taken out for a ride and i got a call to say my colt is out and running for the hills. im in mass panic as the fenced paddock had barbed wire on the top, so i have all sorts running through my head. any way he was caught i took him back to the yard he has few nicks in his legs but nothing needing vet attention. lucky horse lucky owner. mistake i wont make again. he was so sweated up and stressed his eyes were blood shot red. i spent a good hour wiping his legs calming him down he is now in his stable munching through his hay
