Does anyone have experience of fitting phenolic board into a Rice trailer? I know all about the original 2 level floor in wood and how the spans are not appropriate for ply but is the phenolic board suitable? If anyone knows I'd be very grateful to hear what you think. Thanks

We have just fitted buffalo boards as the floor to our lorry, and will have 17mm rubber matting over the top, overall the floor will be 36mm thick with underfloor braces about 18"-24" apart I think.

It has been suggested as a replacer for my trailer floor - is it expensive? I will be ringing IW next week as they did have an offer on aluminium replacement floors.

We fitted buffalo board into our ancient IW trailer, we replaced the sides and the floor and it's done the job nicely.

Fjord, were the sides easy to replace, two of the guys at the farm replaced an IW floor this weekend in between watching the tour de france come past, they did it remarkably quickly considering what it costs if you take it in to do it. but i wonder is one of my side panels needs replacing, just not sure how much of a job it is to do it.
