pheramone diffusers

can anyone tell me if these work> they are expensive and i am dubious. i have a nervy gundog who i have owned for four years, he is now 8 years old. for a while now he has been scrabbling the floor during the night and i am wondering if it is the stormy weather. he is very nervy and i wondered if a pheromone diffuser on at night might calm him, or any other ideas welcome please.

IN my experience, yes! I have the spray for my own dogs and it works really well. I use the diffuser at work in my grooming studio and I have noticed a marked difference on certain dogs when using it.

It seems to really depend on how individual dogs react to the product, in my experience working in veterinary practice for some dogs it really helps and for others it doesn't seem to have much if an effect. It will depend on how severe your dogs anxiety is too. I think unfortunately the only way to know is to give it a go!
