Out hunting on Saturday, some idiot's horse reared up and backed into Ali... As everyone was cramped together, Ali had no choice but to back up into barbed wire, it happened just as the day was finishing up... The vet stitched him up on Saturday evening, and the stitches will be taken out in about 5 - 8 days... Here are the photos I took just after he was stitched up on Saturday evening -
Ouch, barbed wire, nasty stuff!!!Learnt my lesson the hard way!
Youngster and barbed wire dont mix!Hate the stuff!!I have some really gory pics of my boy but unfortunately on photo so cant upload em,they all healed well just left scarring, one he got the skin was so severed the vet had to use real long stitches(forgotten what they call them)so it could flex when he walked,i was very lucky he wasnt seriously hurt,as in having to have him pts!!!It looks good so should heal well!!
