Some sick hoax, two people were found photographing our horses in our fields too.

This is getting very, very out of hand

Drove off in a white van, plate not noted.

What did they say?

Remember, could still be scare mongering - our horses were photographed by a man in a silver Merc - nothing has happened and it isn't against the law!

I have horses at the yard where this happened. It was an attempted theft gone wrong and 2 horses were hit by a car and the lady is critically ill in hospital. We are all totally devestated by this and are struggling to deal with everything. both horses have died, one at the scene and one this morning. Please do not make jokes about this incident it is not a laughing matter. We are also not only upset by the loss and the injured lady but also the childish mindless gossip surrounding this awful situation. This is not a scam nor is it a reason to joke. we have all been very saddened and this will affect us for a very long time. The police are doing their best and we hope that the bastards who did this are caught. Please give us some respect and make jokes about a terrible situation. I hope you all understand that this is very real for us and very upsetting and it hurts to read these some of these comments. Please leave it now.

this is from someone at the yard where it happened so it is true

They were inside a field, which has upset the YO's greatly as it's tresspassing if nothing else.

They weren't confronted.

Talks with a neighbour confirm they were also spotted tresspassing in their fields, taking photos of the horses.

Jokes on them, however, the other yard has CCTV which covers one side of our yard. They may have been stupid enough to get caught on camera, especially as they turn up during the day.

We've got someone 'babysitting' the yard 24/7 and CCTV on the way. Police are also patrolling the area.

If, by chance, it's not a hoax, they won't be getting anything in Marton. All the local yards have been made aware!
