I need help!

Im wanting to sep-up my own website but dont know where to start, does amyone know of any sites etc that I can look at and also how I go about trying to protect my images from being copied???

Thanks S x

Easiest way to protect your images is to watermark them. The only way to fully protect your images from being copied is not to put them on the web. There are ways to disable right-click etc but I'm not sure of those.

With regards to Websites: you could create a pro gallery on http://Photobox.co.uk (I find this is good if you don't want to be printing all of the photos yourself) or theres http://gallery.menalto.com

There are plenty of companies who will host a website for you, but you'll need to pay for it. I suppose it depends how serious you are really? If you just want to put them on so people can see them Photobucket with public access is good or something like Fotalia if you want people to see them to buy (like stock images).

There should be plenty of instructions on the internet if you have a search on how to disable right click and copy. I did get shown at a workshop once, but I can't remember either! Watermark your images for certain. Photoshop can do that for you, or you can buy some software that does just that job, easily and in large numbers.

As has been said, sadly there is no way of protecting your images totally - unless you keep them off the web :(

Hope that is of some help.
