Does anyone know anything about a new light therapy product from America designed to aid healing of various eqine conditions. It is called the Photonic Health Red Light.We have a Welsh section b that has a tendon injury and we are looking to for anything that might help his recovery.

Hi! I'm not a Doctor or a vet, but I've done a bit of science in my time so thought I would stick my oar in!

They appear to be selling a red torch for $450 plus import duty, VAT and shipping to the UK.

They talk a lot about wavelengths and stick to this particular number of 660 nm (red-ish) and claim other colours are somehow risky(?). I once encountered the colour yellow but I think I got away with it. I skimmed the studies they reference (most of the ailments on the web page are not mentioned and all of the conclusions in the studies are tentative) and they deal with different numbers to this, which is odd considering how important they claim it is to be precise about these things.
