Was out for a hack in the new (to us, it's pretty old really) dressage saddle, which we now have fitted thanks to a sheepskin half pad and a prolite wither pad...
And then realised we were accidentally matchy matchy. Accidentally, you ask? Only because everything we own is purple (or if not then black), so any combination of anything is matchy. Even worse, my other saddle has
purple trim on the pommel and cantle for extra points.
Do I make anyone feel better about matchy obsession? Or maybe it will when I tell you my hat cover is purple velvet and I'm wearing my purple blouson behind the camera....

purple really suits!
I got all purple for my last horse, who was a proper blood bay - looked absolutely fab. Not quite as 'pop' on Geoff as he's a bit more gingery but he's stuck with it... I have too much purple to start again with another colour now
