my friend had a really bad phobia of horses, it took a few hours for Ria to work her magic, he even had a walk around on her!

I have another one but won't post it as its quite upsetting for me but it was taken the morning he died you wouldn't even believe he died 6 hours later he looked so good in the picture. But it reminds me everyday how horses are too fragile and every moment with them may be your last so you have to cherish every one.

Really annoyed that i didnt get any pictures of him being ridden at that stage because he was looking and going awesome ... if i do say so myself! I could sit and look at him all day :(

This is my arab mare, turned out for the first time after her colic surgery (in september). She is 6 months in foal now, having not only pulled through herself, but held her pregnancy too. She is such a special girl and is my life.

My TB chestnut mare Misred, bought her as a horse that needed re backing, ummmm, first time she had a roller on she threw herself on the floor, but she didnt have a nasty bone in her body, she was just scared stiff. After 18 months she was my best friend, I realised what I had the day this pic was taken, she never xc'ed again, a week later she had a freak accident in the field and after 6 weeks box rest was PTS.

This is mine. this was after B's serious operation and resultant 3 months box rest, was allowed to walk him out so walked him down the hill to my parents' house for some grass.

he paused and rested his head on my shoulder and I knew then, that despite the advice of the experts, we'd done the right thing.

These are so lovely. I have so many photos that mean loads to me, but this one is special. This is Charlie and I, he is my loan pony that I have just bought.
I never thought I would be able to own another , with bringing up 4 children I had to give up horses for years. But after a couple of loans over the last 2 years, I finally have my own again. To everyone else he is a short, bog standard Newfie but to me hes everything! :D :D

this one because this is the one my hubby gave me inside a Christmas card last Christmas day. It said "you make my dreams come true, now I've made yours come true. The little fella on the right is yours. Merry Christmas" I blubbed like an idiot for at least an hour!

This photo makes me proud of my old pony. He was the type that is scared of life, even a different shade of grass lead to a spook so to be able to get him out and jumping meant lots to me, even if it did take a very long time!

(There is a log in amongst the brambles, honest). The picture was taken at our old yard and I spent many a happy time cantering him around there :D
