Physio recommendations

I’m looking for recommendations for a physio for my lad, Derbyshire/Staffordshire borders that hopefully won’t cost a bomb?! Tia..

Try Sue Palmer, The Horse Physio. She’s made such a difference to my boy, best money I’ve ever spent.

Joe Carby, first physio registed with DEFRA. Treats Whitakers and other top sj's and top eventers + any tom dick or harry. Yorkshire based but travels widely, his web is under reconstruction but you can find him on F/bk Joe Carby (Joe Carby (Joe Carby Equine Physiotherapy). Worth the money.

Doesn't look like £250 on the page I'm looking at for a regular physio visit. My friend uses her in Staffs and really recommends her.

Does she take her horse to the clinics though do you know? Think I was looking at yard visits but maybe not the physio side..durrrr! Lol

Rachel is great, very down to earth, and takes just as much care in treating my wonky mare as her more illustrious charges . Think she's £75 with call out for one horse.

Sue Palmer is £85 for the initial assessment and then £65 thereafter. The initial assessment takes approx. 1.5hours. I am waiting for my first appointment with her and she comes highly recommended from a very knowledgeable person on my yard. I used to have Gavin Scofield, back in the day, but he is now so popular it's almost impossible to get an appointment with him. He's an Osteopath rather than a Physio though.

Yep those are Sue’s prices ^^

What I like about Physio, and Sue in particular, is how I’ve seen improvement build, rather that with things like chiropractic where I’ve looke at him and thought “he needs a treatment” - he’s improved with each treatment he’s had so far.

Thanks guys, sue doesn’t come out to my area, she kindly emailed me back (rare occurrence nowadays I find) , so will try Rachel..

Her office is very efficient though, and there are several other good physios working for ECS so hopefully you will get sorted soon with someone.
