As title really! Can't believe my luck. A couple of weeks ago I posted about my horse being a bit stiff on the right rein and occasionally going disunited in canter. As advised I consulted my instructor and then called in my usual physio. As with anyone any good I've had to wait a while to get an appointment. In this time George had started to improve but thinking better to be cautious I kept the appointment. I knew that I'd have a farrier visit the next day and told the physio this and she advised that he shouldn't be shod straight out of the stable but to warm him up gently first. So I spent 20 or so minutes walking him in hand round the school with the odd burst of trot before he had his new shoes. But this morning I go down to find him with a burning hot hoof, heat in his fetlock and lame. I'm almost certain that this is a shoeing issue and my farrier is coming back tomorrow to have a look but I'm so annoyed that all the good work the physio had done might have been undone already. GRRRRRR! Anyway, thanks for letting me get that off my chest I feel a bit better now. x
