The battle game... physio v chiro!!!
wink.gif

Obviously I know that physios look at soft tissue first prior to manipulation whilst chiro work directly on the joints.

But I have just realised there is a big difference in prices... whilst a chiro can be available for £40, the physios seem to charge at least £15 more... is there a reason for this??? I would have thought the charges would be about the same...

I think you'll find the pricing goes along the lines of qualifications.... Registered Equine Physios will have bene in university whereas, in my experience the qualifications Equine Chiropractors have aren't as strong lets say! (I was a physio for my horse, a chiro for me, but my chiro has been to uni and is very well qualified, but there may well be some equine ones with what I'd call proper qualifications and not just evening school/college/self taught))

I always recomend people speak to their vet and see who they recomend and refer to. I know in my area there are some "back people" that vets wouldn't touch with a barge pole! No point paying a lower price if they're actually not going to do anything worthwhile.
