Physiotherapy - taping to improve straightness?

I have seen physio's tape the quarters of a horse to activate the muscles on weaker side which helped improve straightness in horse.
I want to know if anyone has had this done to their horse and what they thought about it? Also, if anyone can recommend a good physio who would help with this who would visit near Bath, Somerset?

I had this done by my physio a few weeks ago. Had never seen it before but it definitely made a difference to the way my horse moved. I'm supposed to be doing it as 'homework' but asked them to send me pics of where the tape's supposed to go which they still haven't done.
