Don't be horrified he looks like an RSPCA case..
The hair will grow back as will his tail, and he will be dark bay. The vet reckons the hair loss was partly shock, partly the illness.
As you can see he's down but not out...

He is definitely feeling better, he flounced off when I attempted to catch him in the field!
keep the vibes coming, the vet says he is still pretty poorly..

Much as I would like to take the credit it really was a joint effort, CCJ did all the grotty mucking out of the horrid beds and was much better with the IV's than me...
Somehow I dount he will leave here if he gets over this, he was the only one we were dithering about selling this year before he got sick.
