Picasso towing Ifor 505

I've seen it before but with two big horses in it which more than likely made it illegal (although it seemed to be towing on grass perfectly fine) but ours is one of the early Ifors and weighs much less than the new ones, even less than originally stated on the brochure with the wood floor as an alloy floor was put in afterwards, so that with my lightweight TB, is under the towing weight of what our Piccy can tow (I've checked weights). Ours is the 2ltr diesel but the petrol ones can't tow as much and they don't make the 2ltr ones anymore.

I wouldn't put two in like I've seen but with our mare only, it's fine. My OH has a pre 1997 license so he is legal to tow and we only tow on flat roads (which is fine as the shows we go to are only 5- 10 miles away on flat local roads), my friend with the landy tows us to far shows or hilly ones.

They are powerful cars, more than what people think they are and we've done and towed all sorts with ours.
 
Ours is 2.0 HDi and my mare is 430- 450kg (depending on the time of year) so pretty much have to rely on my OH to tow me or get my license and fork out to take my towing test!! Although it's best of my OH tows as he can reverse like a good 'un!

Get your B licence and as that comes with a B+E provisional you can drive whilst OH supervises - usual B+E towing & supervising rules apply
