Your OH dresses exactly like mine. My OH lives in cami trousers and the c**p he carries in his pockets is unbelievable, no wonder he has a bad back

All this talk about camouflage trousers, with pockets on the thighs, reminds me about a Bernese Mountain Dog owner ages ago. She was going to compete in obedience and tried a "little" trick to make the dog walk perfect besides her leg, she put a whole dinner-chicken in the thigh-pocket. It worked great, until she was leaving the competition-course and wanted to put her dog on the leash again. The leash that she without thinking had put in the same pocket as the chicken, so out came both chicken and leash and they were disqualified.

Maybe it's just me, but does it not look as if Blue is more squeezed in than Bran and does it not also look as if he's the one sleeping most comfortable?

Strange, but recognizable from my own home.

*sigh* But where is the world coming to, I'm sure I read somewhere that you advised somebody to not allow the dog in question up in the furniture Cala, because it would weaken her leader position *sigh*. And what have I seen on photos you've posted since? *taps foot on the floor to get attention*

No seriously, I'm not shocked over what I could see in your chairs Cala

, not even if you tell me those poor heat-loving sight-hounds stays there all evening, without going down to curl up in front of the fire.

They look like two puzzle-pieces that have found their matching part.

I know that everybody can't allow their dogs to do what somebody else allows their dogs to do, or wants to allow for that matter. Some dog training simply needs to be adapted to the situation, the dog and maybe most importantly, the person/people involved.

Lovely pictures Cala and the cat have that look like, well you know, that cat-ish kind of look "I want to lie here and therefore I lie..."

I have serious whippet envy.

I love dogs but can't have one cause I work full time and I would love a greyhound or whippet so I am really envious

I did indeedy, advise someone not to let the dog on the chair, but I mellowed recently and told someone, if they could manage their dog if issues arise, and have no problems getting the dog off the furniture, and they are consistant......then do it

Gorgeous photos and how cute are your whippets!

Love the photo also of your old whippet x grey, I've got exactly the same but in grey (complete with the greying out face)

Thanks Cala, she's around 10 now, she's a rescue and had a terrible time in her early years being kept on a chain in a scrap yard (and as I'm sure you know long noses like their creature comforts) where she was tortured by a disgusting man with a knife (it doesn't bear thinking about), she has a horrible long scar on her chest.

Her brain is pretty much 'fried' bless her, but I love her to bits and have had her about 7 years now, she is currently snoring in the armchair!
