Piccies of the crew post move...on our regular walking route.

me too...we did meet one other dog walker today but thats fairly unusual at the times I walk. The dogs were thoroughly peed off that the walk was interrupted by having to sit and pose for stupid pictures today! Particularly Flora...her face says it all in some of the ones I didnt upload...peed off!!

Looks like a fab walk! Love your lurcher!:D

Lol shes a poppet isnt she...she was also annoyed, I have been walking her muzzled and I took the muzzle off..... just to take photos of her sat next to stupid ginger dog and then put the silly thing back on, she didnt get to go chase anything!  :D

Oh mean mummy!! Actually if I can pick your brains on that subject? I need a muzzle for my new lurcher boy, he's having problems coping with males (human males) and is nipping if we come across people on our walks. He was caged since birth til 7 months old when I took him on so he's very nervous of men. Obviously I can't have him nipping and with the dark nights coming up I'm concerned to let him off lead when I can't see people coming. Luckily so far it's only local fishermen we've met and they have all been very understanding. Anyway waffle waffle, but what type of muzzle do you use for yours? I tried a basket one and he was very distressed by it, do you think a soft fabric might be better?

Shes in a basket muzzle...was also stressed by having it on at first (she'd never worn one before we moved house) but if you stick it on then get out and get on with the walk they get used to it quite quickly cos the walks more interesting than the muzzle. I dont like the fabric ones and didnt buy her one because we walk so far and it inhibits panting properly, no good for long walks IMO. She still tries to rub or paw at it occasionally but a quick ''no'' and she bimbles on now.

Thanks I'll keep trying. It's all very 'drama queen' him being mostly whippet so I'll ignore the screaming and falling on the floor palava. ;)

she was like that too, dont bother trying to get him accustomed to it in the house or anything, I found distracting her by revving her up and getting her excited about going out etc got her used to it without tantrums after a few days.

Ok, I can now, please next time dont use FB:mad: its to much effort for me to look, I would like a link straight to the pic please:rolleyes::p
