gone broody.....
My 'foal' by Derek (Treliver Decanter) is now 2 and absolutely stunning and a huge show off like his dad. His mum is now going out competing (did her first XC last sunday and went clear apart from one stop at triple bounce steps up which she'd never seen before, ridden by a friend who hadn't sat on her for about 6 months previously, and is now going to do WH /SJ classes over the summer locally) so it's time for Fanta's grandma to go in foal again. She's had two graded foals before and is graded herself and at 15 this will be the last foal I probably breed from her. (I bred her and cannot believe where the time has gone since she was a wee small foal herself)
She's too small at 12.3 to goto Derek (damn) so I've had to go out stallion hunting for her (her last foal's sire is now dead or she'd return to him) so I've picked out

Vet is booked for next week to do the CEM swab and then she'll go onto Regumate before being AI'd next month (Regumate because she doesn't show in season very much and been round the loop without R. and it's ridiculous with her).
Something to look forward to (hopefully).
