pickin feet up

heya
tryin to get my horse ready for the blacksmith only had him 2 weeks an he paws alot so paws when i pick his feet up any advice how to stop this ....he even hops around on 3 legs i can put hoof oil on an brush them jus cant pick them up to clean them out!!!!

its only a trim but he's startin to think its good to paw which i dont want to encourage but he does it wiv both front feet!ive tried runnin my hand down his leg an sayin up when i want to pick it up then leavin it but when i do it again he paws.....soooo annoyin lol
