Hi All

I am deciding to put my mare in foal again, she bred her first foal last yr and I now have a lovely yearling colt (by Masterpiece). However I am now utterly stuck on what to send her to

Mare - 15.1 by Its Without Doubt (Brendon Hill Stud) out a hunter mare by a SHB(GB) stallion. Competed at 2* level eventing, BSJA winnings, super attitude and all round fantastic horse, is a bit sharp (but personally quite like that in her)

Do not want any foreign blood so looking for TB/Irish type. Also not looking to breed anything more than 16h

So any stallion suggestions?
Thanks Hx

Sorry forgot to say mine is 7/8tb

And no probs with English breeding at all, i'm not a fan of the foreigns!

Am in Wiltshire....Faerie tale is avail by AI at West Kingston Stud and is on my list already, however my mares Daddy is by Welton Louis, who in turn was by Ben Faerie so not sure if the lines are too close...any ideas?

Roviris - Anne Bassett, Devon
No Submission - Langellar Farm - Devon
High Tension - Sally F, Devon (Dorset?????)

Sorry they all seem to be down south, but these are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Weston Justice is lovely, we have a super 2 year old by him with a v sweet nature.
McGuigan is slightly smaller and has a bit of irish in him so slightly thicker set but he has a wonderful attitude.

You cant go far wrong with an Opposition horse but pick Fleetwater over Utopian or if not possible, try and get the young one

My mare (Irish half-bred) is in foal to Weston Justice - we are hoping he will lighten her baby and give it some quality.

Weston Justice is very smart, well put together and moves nicely. He is small-ish and looks like a TB (although I think he isn't quite full TB).

Watch this space for pics of India's baby when it appears!

Med Night Mahout - standing at Cliveden Stud (in Berkshire but he's available by AI). Int. Eventer (2 points off Advanced) and only 16hh. By Jumbo. Lovely boy with super temperament. PM me for contact details.

Thanks for all the suggestions, will have to get my thinking cap on now, she is due in season any day now, so will aim to get her at next one which should be early May. Same time as her last covering and it worked out really well

How about Chase the Ace (google neue schule bits)? There are so many good TB's out there that are siring eventer types. I don't know where to start. How about Uptons Deli Circus? He's by Shaab, coloured, has competed advanced eventing, lovely temperament, 15'2. I met the owners last weekend and they were lovely! Not sure where he's standing - Twemlows stud?
