I don't think they are fly bites. None of the other horses have any. They look like pus coming out of her skin. Have attached pic again and one taken of it this morning. They are on the bottom of her belly.
Frank gets similar its like he gets a low grade localised bacterial infection when the skin is compromised (presents a little like a wet mud fever would)!so fly bite/ swear bumps etc all causes. With him sudocreme with added sulphur powder works really well and clears them up in a couple of days
Thanks for your replies everyone. This is what they look like this morning. Not had anything put on them other than fresh air. Out during day and flies don't seem interested in them. These are the size of a one pence coin. Mare was dosed with fasinex five days before they appeared and i'm wondering if they are some reaction to that?
