Maybe this should be in photo gallery, I'm after pics of all different types of horses from cobs to TBs in good condition, ie fit, muscled, in work, carrying the right amount of weight. Anything from hacking fit to eventing fit. Cheers

Heres my boy, this pic was taken when he was rather fit, doing BD every week, jumping and in medium work:

More recently (this year) when he is in light to medium work:

Hope this helps!

This is my just turned 4 gypsy cob. He is in show condition - muscle not fat and will continue to fill out with age.

Not all of them are lard buckets. He can also trot 20 minutes and then canter 10 mins non stop without puffing - long enough for a youngster at the moment.

my fit 13.1 all rounder, have given up trying to get her any leaner she lives on air and any extra kg's simply will not budge but she is fit as a fiddle, regularly competing all RC activities.
sorry if pics big

Hacking fit.... would have been competition fit, but had a manky leg that wouldnt stand up to much according to the vet..... he still has the same arthritic manky leg, but is now passed fit to do whatever we like.... no pain killers etc. The arthritis has done its worst and he is pain free

He looks like this now though, he is as fit as above but fatter

Thanks Sophie...... He has an arthritic fetlock, a result we think of a massive joint infection as a youngster...... but the arthritis hasnt progressed since I have had him, and hopefully his problems are just a slight limitation in the movement in that fetlock.... so he isnt in pain but can look a bit unlevel due to the joints not moving exactly the same

It always happens to the best of them doesn't it, atleast it doesn't cause him any problems.
My sec A has got a dodgy hock, he had a bad accident as a baby, and even though he's only 11 he's slightly arthritic and is on glucosamine and will be for the rest of his life.
He's happy to work (well if you can call it that lol), he hacks out now and again. But Im happy to have him as a field ornament for the rest of his life lol!

Bear is looking good at the min, I need to get him out more though, he's not as fit ass he could be
