So I thought I'd show you all our new field since I finally remembered to take the camera
Photos first sorry for the size! :

My lad looking a bit wooly and having a nice munch on the grass after a good roll:

My fav pic out of this lot, shame about the electric tape and stupid "hay feeder" mum insisted we get. It's actually a composter and they seem to take great pleasure in dismantling it. Needless to say I've finally convinced her it's easier - and probably safer - to just feed from the ground

Mum's girl:

Looking a bit goat like with the hair on her face ha ha!

But she's actually very pretty! (Friends horse in the field below in the background)

And a couple of video's of the actual field because you can't really see it all properly in either of them I did two, the first is 2mins long the second one is only 40 odd seconds. Sorry about my dodgey commentary Also noticed watching them back that I actually do have and accent, I've always been told my voice is pretty neutral and have been asked wheather I was English/Austrailian/Polish before ha ha!:

Wormed them after moving them, Loki wasn't very happy with me afterwards ;)

Just love both of them especially in their winter woollies. Beautiful!!!!Have to say especially the lovely lovely grey - lush!!!!! Especially that second to last picture.

NB latest worming advice (which is different to old fashioned advice we all used to follow)
is to worm on the old pasture a few days before moving them, not doing it in the new pasture (otherwise any worms that are resistant to the wormer you use will be expelled into the clean pasture and you have 100% resistant worms, if you do it in the old pasture they breed with non resistant ones in the field when expelled and hence the offspring arent 100% resistant. (sorry for extreme dullness of this bit)

Ooh thanks for that, I had always thought it was worm in the new paddock  I'll now no better and do it before moving them, thank you :D
Hee hee that's my mum's mare, I still think she looks a bit goat-like in that pic :p

We're not sure, there isn't a breeding history on either of their passports  Mum jokingly calls them b***ard ponies :p I call Pippa the princess pony because she's like a little girls dream pony all flowing mane and tail :D

 lol. It's interesting because she's got almost identical hind legs and quarters and tail as my boy. Also muzzle area too. He's 10years old, piebald and a coloured cob crossed with a welsh type.

I know! She's quite a quiet person really so it comes a bit of a shock when she comes out with stuff like that ha ha! :D
Pippa's 12... maybe they're related somehow ;) I love her summer colours :) I'm still biased about my lad though :D
