I had never seen a straight Blue until we got ours - I know I am biased, but I think she is beautiful, and has the most wonderful temprement.

Her auntie was a red, but I have never seen a lilac before - stunning too. :)

A lovely pack :D
Thank you.

Lovely dogs :)
Thank you

I love the blues, I had wanted 1 for several years before I got Skye (even before I got Teagan), so when my friend told me of a litter from agility lines with a blue girl I had to have her and luckily I got her, she is a special girl, she competed at Crufts in agility this year! Star is her daughter, a year old next weekend, I knew Skye carried red, and the stud dog had a 66% of carrying red, but hadn't had a red pup in his previous 3 litters!

They are all lovely. I'm a border collie fan too - cant imagine life without a collie in it:D.

I've got a black and white and a chocolate tri. I've never seen a lilac before though - its really unusual and lovely:D

This is Daisy ...

Thank you. The dogs in your avator look lovely. Lilac is the dilute of the red (or chocolate).

I'm not really a Collie fan (please don't slap me lol) but I could be persuaded to have a blue or a lilac, some of the red merle's are really attractive too :D

Lovely bunch

BC's aren't for everyone, but I wouldn't be without them!!!

Skye's dad is a lovely red merle.

I had never heard of lilac, I always thought they were just a lighter shade of chocolate or red. :o Lovely gand you have there. We briefly had a blue merle, lovely looking dog but he had huge behavioural problems (not his fault, we were his 4th home and he was only 9 months old:mad:). He was actually OHs dog, and when he left I had to rehome Raz as he couldn't be trusted with my 2 young children, luckily found him a great home with a friends parents. So many collies end up in the wrong homes don't they, they do need to do a job, it never failed to amaze me how much energy they had when I saw them at shows.

Thanks, lilac has 2 copies of the recessive red gene and 2 copies of the recessive dilute gene, it is quite a rare colour, blue is the dilute of the black gene, not to be confused with blue merle, the dilute of blue merle is slate merle. I compete at agility with my dogs and just started flyball, I've also done a bit of HTM in the past and enjoy teaching them tricks.

Now he is a very handsome boy :D I don't know what it is, but then a lot of people don't like JRTs and I have 3 soon to be 4 of those lol.
He is handsome.

a lovely pack:D

Thank you.
