My OH's friend has got a husky puppy (I believe she's a husky but I don't know the difference between these types of dogs and didn't want to look like an idiot and ask him but I thought it's ok to look like an idiot here

!!) Anyway, these were taken a few weeks ago and it's amazing to see how much Ruby has grown since then

. She is 6 months old now and is just so lovely! We did a dog show yesterday, I will do a report when I get the pictures

, if you are not all sick of seeing her

Anyway, here they are:

And just a few random ones of the dogs at the yard, they are very very effective guard dogs, I certainly wouldn't climb over our gate

Well it looks like a husky to me, but I am probably wrong

Great pics, look like they are having great fun, but they certainly didn't want to pose prettily next to each other did they
smile.gif

Thank you, we tried so hard to get them to sit next to each other and it lasted for about 1 second then one of them would pounce on the other

H_H I love watching dogs playing like that, they have so much fun and I think its healthy for them
smile.gif
. There are 12 dogs at the yard and when they play it sounds and looks like they are actually killing each other
crazy.gif
, but there has never been so much as a scratch on any of them
smile.gif
.

Yes, it does sound like they are killing each other doesn't it?!
Sometimes I leave my two for a few seconds to poo pick or sort feed out and I hear all this barking and growling, when I go to check on them they are having a whale of a time, just mucking around and tails wagging like mad.

It is also brilliant exercise for them - ten minutes of mucking about is better for them than half an hour of on-lead walking IMO!

I completely agree! I only moved up to this yard about a month ago and at my previous yard dogs weren't allowed out the car so I had to do the horse and walk Ruby after but its brilliant now, by the time I have done all I need to the horse I have one worn out, happy puppy
grin.gif
! If she plays in the morning she sleeps ALL day, it's brilliant. Plus it has taught her so much about playing with dogs and about boundaries, they won't put up with any nonsense from her

!

Why's that? Do you need some 'security'?!
grin.gif

ETA Just seen your post, ha ha that would be brilliant! Have 12 of them ready and waiting for any 'trespassers'
mad.gif
. I would offer you Ruby too but she runs away and hides between my legs whenever they launch into an attack if someone comes to the gate
