just trying to decide which one to give my horse and which lines to follow. always full clipped him before, but he's only doing 60-90mins hacking at the moment 6 days a week, just walk and a bit of trot. He is a wooly mammoth though and is drenched with sweat when we get back so would like to get some fluff off him!

Hi,
My boy has kind of a cross between a blanket and a trace clip as a full clip is too much as he drops weight quickly, a blanket leaves his bum cold so he uses that as an excuse to buck

and a trace is not enough

thats the clip aran usually gets - i think its a good compromise as he doesnt get sweaty and i'm not too worried about him getting cold when i'm schooling him!
