Lovely pictures of your gorgeous dog MOC. Didn't imagine you a 'dogs on furniture ' person!

I wasn't until him. As I saw how the other two would lie all over each other and as he's on his own atm, I thought I would experiment a bit and let him up. Really glad I did, feel bad for not letting up previous dogs tbh as I think they love the company and contact etc. He sleeps in his own bed and is allowed on couch on invitation. I might change my mind if I get another big dog or try and get a bigger couch..

He's looking fantastic! If you're not interested in Field Trials have a look at working tests - all run on dummies and might be another fun activity in the summer for you )

He's lovely MoC!! Can I ask where you got him from? We're thinking of getting a second dog in 18 months to 2 years and would love a Goldie. We currently have a Springer

thank you Abi

we got him from a chap in Castle Douglas. he's not a goldie breeder-he actually works ESS full time in the winter and his goldie bitch picks up and is his only house dog lol. he was so taken with her father's temperament when he looked after him at a trial he waited three years for a pup. he only breeds when he wants a pup so not often-he kept a dog from the last litter.

there are various breeders around-sadly harder to come by in their native Scotland than down south! whereabouts are you?

We're in Northumberland so have the borders and the whole of the North of England that we can get to quite easily. Our Spinger came from Cumbria.
