My ancient (he's 16 now) lurcher went for a paddle a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd share. We all though we were going to lose him last year as he had a small stroke but he's doing ok at the moment. Full of the joys of spring as they say

This is about as fast as he goes these days, I don't think he could catch a rabbit anymore. Thank goodness. They don't half scream and he never knew what to do with them once he got hold of them
Having a paddle
And finally, no trip to the beach is complete without a stop to the chip shop. ( I know he shouldn't really eat chip shop sausage but he's so old now we figure there isn't much harm in spoiling him from time to time!)
